Wind & rain, - Devonshire weather; - Read Marmion & otherwise endeavoured to kill time - never knew many Fine days in this part of the country but not one on Good Friday; by the bye we had no hot crossed buns today; love food; - couldn't afford them I suppose. - Captain Harvey mustered ships company & took lunch with us. At 5 dined, ½ past 6 took cafè, 8 tea; - ½ past 8 Negus & 10 went to bed. |
