Wrote a long letter home -
Visited the plains of Troy & the outer castle of Aquis from the hill overlooking which I had a splendid view of the Dardanelles & European coast. Having had nothing better to amuse me for some time past employed myself about rigging our dingy after the annexed plan under the impression that it will answer well for small boats, having all the advantages of the Martin with the additional one of stowing mast & a in board in calms which the Martin will not do.
